Freelance Contractor with 10+ years experience in the gaming industry, specializing in Gameplay and Networked Multiplayer games for Unreal Engine! Most of those years was spent mastering all engineering levels of the Unreal Engine. Shipping games on the PC platform, bringing extensive experience in C++/Blueprints, enabling me to get quality products out the door.

I have built just about every gameplay sub-system you can think of, from weapons and game modes, to user interfaces, continuous integration/build pipelines and managed game server deployment and platforms for a live service title.

Working remotely from Australia, I've been a part of great teams and helped to build great teams.

I have also helped to Administrate and Moderate the largest Unreal Engine focused Discord Server in the world. Connecting with and assisting many talented individuals and teams within the industry.

Lead Programmer - 8 Circuit Studios

Current

Initially I was brought on to design and implement the PVP Match Making and Server Deployment code and infrastructure. That grew into a more broader roll, overseeing all aspects of game development, gameplay feature implementation, continuous integration and build pipelines to server management and deployment for Project Genesis. Working with the design and production team along side the director to build a PVP and PVE First Person Shooter experience.

Gameplay Programmer - Deadlift Studios

I helped flesh out their Multiplayer Combat Racer experience, providing instrumental foundation to their gameplay systems such as Weapons Combat and the Multiplayer connectivity features.

Gameplay Programmer - JKW Productions, Inc

2 Years

Developed a gameplay weapons system and architected their dedicated server browser for a Multiplayer Third Person Shooter vertical slice in order to bring to investors, my time there ended after it was unfortunately not selected for further funding.
